Pinata Party at a Festival Wedding

When creating this shoot I wanted to bring eco conscious suppliers together so we could create a festival style wedding that was not only bold & beautiful but eco friendly too. I started with the eco glitter (you can’t have a festival without some glitter!), I also got a hair stylist on board who uses eco friendly products, a florist who uses lots of incredible local flowers, vegan shoes, a bridal outfit from Bowen Dryden that is from their BRAND NEW eco range!! and an incredible stylist and prop hire company who isn’t afraid of colour.

Since lockdown this shoot has taken on a much bigger and deeper meaning. It started out as a shoot to inspire couples to go bold with colour and think outside the box but it has changed into a great example of a post Covid wedding. We want couples to go all out when their big day comes around, we have been shouting ‘love wins’ for months but we want couples to be shouting about it on the day too. When wedding parties are allowed we want them to be huge and we want everyone to have the best celebration so we hope that this shoot inspires couples to do just that.

From face glitter to smashing up pinatas and flamingos on the lawn to neon lights, say ‘I DO’ they way you want to and make it a party to remember!

We got the lovely Scarlett & Chris to model for us, these two are a real couple and they are engaged. They sadly had to change their wedding plans due to Covid so I made sure we had lots of fun on the day to give them a little lift 😊

We started in a floaty short sleeved top from Bowen Dryden for the indoor photos with the stunning top table and ceremony backdrop. We then got Scarlett into the new eco sequin top from Bowen Dryden for the fun photos outside. There was some fun in the beautiful classic VW Beatle, piggy backs on the grounds of Vanstone Park, glitter blowing and pinata smashing before the couples tucked into the colourful wedding cake created by The cake Lab UK.
